Harold Fieldman was a well known furniture maker based in West Leeds, specialising in pub and restaurant furniture.
We see items with the Fieldman label pop up from time to time but have never seen a set is as good condition as this
We have a full set of 4 chairs and a table, manufactured in the 1950s, as far as we can tell, the designs may have continued into the early 1960s.
The chairs are in black vinyl with cream edging, the backs having the distinctive Fieldman figure of 8 shape and the tapered legs ending in metal feet. The table has similar legs whilst the top is white melamine with a similar undertable (to put your drinks while you're playing cards or dominoes)
Not big enough for a true dining table but ideal for a smaller kitchen table or bar table
Chairs : 74cm high, 35cm wide, 42cm deep and seat height 44cm
Table : 62cm high and 50.5cm diameter
